MaltaWebShop.Com is a Malta based Online Gift Shop that offers Small Wooden Barrels, Kegs and Casks in Oak for Wine, Port Wine and Vinegar Flavouring and Dispensing.
These small wine barrels are made from East European oak wood and available in 2, 3, 5 and 10 liters ( dimensions here ) and come with four black hoops and in two different overall finishes to which a wooden tap is fitted. The larger 10 liter oak barrels occasionally come with galvanised steel rings but whatever the size these wine kegs are medium toasted which is ideal for wine, port and vinegar oaking or either dispensing.
Their standard wooden taps can be upgraded to metal, stainless steel or brass taps as needed. However it must be noted that brass taps should never be used for wine, port or vinegar aging but only for wine or port dispensing in addition to distillates ageing.
These small oak barrels are ideal for home wine makers or as a wine enthusiast's gift but also do make a great piece of functional wooden decor that would enhance the rustic feel of any home, cellar, bar, hotel or restaurant.
